It was at evening hosted to celebrate South Asian Achievers that Manohar Chiluveru established himself on the pecking order of the UK art scene. A darling of the Rome Art Week, the Indian artist had yet to be given a susbstantial showcase in the UK.
All that changed on the evening of 23rd September, when as a representing artist of Abxtract Art, Manohar held sway at a solo exhibition hosted as part of the Asian Achievers Awards at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Out of six works exhibited from his Kriyā series, four were picked up by a Private Hedge Fund and one was auctioned for charity by none other than Lord Jeffrey Archer, celebrated author and charity auctioneer. This work was acquired by Scottish businessman Puneet Gupta of PG Paper.
Based on the strength of this exhibition, Chiluvueru has been invited to exhibit at The House of Lords on 4 November and at The House of Commons on 2 February 2023
